01 Blazer - me and my mechanic are stumped!?!

I have a 01 chevy blazer with 125k miles, over the past fews months weird things have started happening.

1st, the ABS and brake lights started flashing while I drive, they do not stay on solid. When I go in reverse or put it in park the light go away. We put new brakes on car and checked the sensors and all was well, then 2 days later it started again.

2nd, right around the same time my blazer started having this weird problem where it starts fine and I can drive, however if I need to make a quick stop at a store or something, when I go to start it again nothing happens. I turn the key and the batt light comes on, not clicking or sound comes from teh car except the normal beeping if I don't have my seatbelt on. So I replaced the battery (it has been a while) and cleaned the batt connectors. This still happens and only when I turn the car off for a short period of time. Sometimes if I turn the key and put it in N it will start, other times I have had to move the shifter between N and D and P and then it will start, other times I have to just wait 5 or 10 min.

3rd, at the same time my engine started idling rough, I got a service engine light and got code p0410. I cleared the code and used the information on this forum to check out the code. Everything is fine. The service engine light has not come back on but it still idles very rough.

I do not know if these are connected to each other and it is so strange that they all started at the same time. Is this possibly an electrical problem? I am stumped.

On the ABS problem you will need to get it on a ABS capable scanner and read out data and check for ABS codes.
If ABS codes post back codes.
Engine code 410 is a code for air injection problem
Get some good repair info and go threw the repair chart for code code 410.
A factor repair manual will have the repair flow chart for 410 or.
http://www.alldata.com/products/diy/index.html
Also good repair info will have a repair flow chart for the no start no starter problem.

On the no starter working the start circuit has to come from ign switch threw a start relay and start fuse and neutral safety switch and on to starter solenoid.
Get the wiring diagram and check where it is losing the start circuit.
Or
If the start circuit is making it to the starter solenoid then check starter or battery cable ends and wires and grounds.
A good test for starter is to check for and jumper 12 volts to the purple start wire at solenoid.
In your case if you can wiggle gear shift park to neutral a band get it to start check out the neutral safety switch real good.
Let us know how it goes and.
Good Luck

Just an FYI, the no start when stopping was a bad fuel pump.

Yes, the symptoms were so random that we went through other less expensive remedies. It took replacing it because that was the last culprit to find the answer. Oh well; I actually have a few other threads on here from 2 years ago that were fixed by the same thing. Crazzzy!
