How do i go about doing this. I piurchased a kit from autozone for like 12 bucks and read the directions is there a right up out there that i'm missing or maybe some pics thanks. Also ive been looking around and am curious as to what this means "40MPH WOT lag". i ve notice this a few times on this and other fourms. sorry for the stupid questions

Be careful trying to do a coolant flush yourself. You can do serious damage if done improperly including overheating the engine, blocking coolant passages or causing leaks due to the "flush" checmical eroding thinning areas in older cooling system components.
To answer your other question, "40MPH WOT lag" means that if you're cruising along at 40MPH and punch the gas to the floor (WOT= Wide Open Throttle) the car doesn't accelerate like it should (lag). This is normally associated with either a blocked catalytic converter or bad torque converter lock-up solenoid in the transaxle.

is the flush something i should have done at a shop midas want 90 to flush it. let me know again thanks for all the help and good advice.

The 40mph WOT lag also refers to the situation in which you floor it from about that speed and there is a delay in the down shift being commanded from the PCM, usually associated with the torque management in the PCM. Most of the aftermarket PCM's out there take care of that.
