87 accord exi shutters while accel

Hi Just bout this accord it sat for 9 months before that I changed the cap and rotor the car drove great for one week and now it shutters while I accelerate until I get to about 2800 rpm it does this in every gear has been doing this for a few days now. It has now started to idle weird sometimes at 1200 rpm sometimes at 750 and bounces between 750 and 1000 and a kinda popping sound out of the exhaust during idle any ideas?

Have you cleaned your fuel injectors or if carb it's dirty, thier dirty and your not running high enough Octane. Try putting in some stp or somethin' like it and filling your car up with the good stuff. We have an 89' accord that sat up for a long time and it took awhile to chase out the cobwebs. The better the fuel the quicker it will happen, and run your cleaner additive two or three times over a month to six weeks, but they definitly were built to run the high octane.
