Tire swapping
I have an Oldsmobile 93 Touring Sedan that I have new tires on aluminum 225/60 R16. I have a venture with 205/75 R15. The bolt patern looks the same. Can I swap rims and tires. The touring sedan tires were 129 a piece.
Driving down the road the other day, the frame on my olds broke.

Re: Tire swapping
i put a set of 235/60/15's on mine worked great. all i can say for the bolt pattern is try and put one one the back as if it rubs it will be there on the fender where you can see it. if it works on the back then put one on the front same side and try turning the wheel all the way and see if it rubs on the inner part of the fender. don't think they will be wide enough to rub the struts.check the post for 225/70/15s it has a link for comparing tire sizes

Re: Tire swapping
You can measure the bolt pattern to see if it is the same. The 16" tire is about .8" wider than the original van tire and 1/2" less in diameter. It probably would fit, but mileage will suffur slightly.

Re: Tire swapping
FYI - tires swapped just fine.
have to admit, the olds logo on the aluminum rims don't look to bad on the chevy |
