exhaust flame
im running open headers on the car listed in my sig ......when i rev it up and let off..under load or just in park...i get a few six inch blue flames coming out the exhaust...is this just the normal burning off excess fuel in the headers?

i see stuff like that all day on open header cars at the drag strip. what you suspect is the correct assumption. I'm sure if you lean things out a bit (idle mixture and/or jetting) it will probably stop.

its not likely to hurt anything will it? My plugs look very good, and overall it runs pretty good as far as lean/rich goes. .....
i guess maybe its time to put the rest of the exhaust on and quit scaring the neighbors
