Track day! Sabin, MN
So we went to Sabin, MN again to run in the street legal drag races they put on once a month in the summer, and then one in october or late september. It was a kick ass weekend, plenty of crazy shit went down, but I am so fucking tired from the trip back, and the Hu Hot I ate is not sitting well. So I will post more about them later, or Torched can help me out.
We had 4 cars that actually raced. 2 Cobalt SS's, one Ion Redline, and a Pontiac G6 GXP. All three LSJs were stage two with intake and minor HPtuning and Torque Dampers, and me and the RL were Header/DP. The RL has catback. The GXP has intake/catback. Perfect day for racing. tail wind, about 60 degrees, and not a cloud in the sky. First run of the day I line up with the other balt and run a 14.1 @ 103.7mph. Turns out that was my best run of the day. I stayed pretty consistant, as I never ran slower than 14.5, and my trap speeds were between 100-104. My 2nd gear wheel hop is what kills me. Best 60 foot was 2.36 But the thing I am most proud of was running down an Evo IV MR from a stop  I ran a 14.2 and he ran a 14.35. The kid was so pissed off at the end of that race, because his parents paid 30k for a car that just got beat by one worth half as much, and FWD. I reeled him in right at the traps, and he was ahead by a good 4 cars at first.All in all, awesome weekend. Crazy cars (8.04 second Supra! it exploded  )were everywhere. We will throw pictures/videos up ASAP. Plus, we will edit a video compilation for you guys too, that will take a little while as we have close to 100 different races to sort through!

It was tons of fun indeed! Too bad I couldnt actually run...I just need to figure out what the hell is wrong with my car. Oh well at least last night I had my fun lol
