no 4wd light 98 2500

I cant get my truck to go into 4wd drive .Is there a fuse?

The lever for the 4wd could be froze up which is a very common problem.The is a vacuum acuator on the front axle,right side which is a dealer part only is another common problem and not cheap,$180.00 for the part.Make sure the vacuum hoses for the 4wd are hooked up first.

the vacuum hoses are the 2 small hoses next to the gear box?thank you

Yes,the ones by the gearbox.The reason why the lever freezes up is because not being used a lot.
