2000 expedition xlt smoking from the muffler any thoughts

If it is solid white, that usually indicates coolant is burning in the exhaust. If it has a sweet smell, it is anti-freeze. How long does it smoke> If it is just for a few seconds, it could be oil coming through the valve seals.
