Leakin fuel

i got a 74 and last couple days my mpg has gone to crap, i cant find any leaks and i dnt smell gas from the carb or anything thatd be leaking, anyone know any ideas what the problem could be? tahnx

Use a flashlight when its on jack stands follow the gas line from the tank to the engine. Next if its flooded in the morning the needle and seat maybe leaking. If it runs bad you may have a dirty carb. When its running pull the air cleaner look at the choke and make sure its open. If its closed check choke pulloff and the spring on the side as they go bad. This is a problem area and will make your vehicle run very rich. I think they still sell parts otherwise try a scrapyard or an old Napa parts store.
