I am currently replacing the serpentine belt along with the A/C compressor. Can someone please tell me how to change the serpentine belt? It's starting to be a real pain!

First it would help to know what year the car is and which motor you have...

Sorry I didn't reply yesterday. I had to go to work and my husband put the belt on. We figured it out, although with much research on the internet.
He is going to post the procedure on how to do it. So far, this site has been very helpful for both of us. Thanks anyway. Kelly 1998 Olds 88 3.8L * Replaced A/C compressor w/clutch (we had the metal rattling noise and metal shavings on the engine from the clutch). He decided to replace belt at the same time. * |
