O/D Switch Blown Fuse

Looking for some insight on why the OverDrive switch is blowing fuses. Not sure it's the switch or something else.

Switches do not blow fuses, Short to gorunds cause blows fuses. Search for damage wiring, possibly pinched wires or damage at the connector.

Remove the steering column trim and look at the wiring coming out of the bottom of the shifter. These are bad about rubbing metal and shorting out the wire causing the fuse to blow.
