Re: Anyone know anything about aftermarket decks?
Tblake,
Here is the error code and possible ways to clear the codes. ERROR-10, ERROR-11, ERROR-12, ERROR-14, ERROR-17, ERROR-30, ERROR-AO: This is caused by an electrical or mechanical problem. Turn the ignition on and off, or switch to a different source on your audio system, then switch back to your CD player. If your unit continues to show error messages after you have cleaned the disc in question, tried another disc unsuccessfully, and retarted your vehicle, you may require service. |

Re: Anyone know anything about aftermarket decks?
Thanks for the info! I tried turning off, switching sources, and resetting, I just cannot get the disk out. I think the unit will have to be dis-assembled to get the cd out.

Re: Anyone know anything about aftermarket decks?
That was going to be my next suggestion, to take apart the deck and remove the disk. Then use a commercial CD disk, to eliminate the disk that got stuck. If the commercial disk does get stuck in the deck, then it is time to send the deck off to an authorized repair facility. You might be able to locate a local authorized repair facility that you can drop off the deck at.
