Completed Lotus Esprit Sport 300

Hello,
Finished Monogram 1:24 Lotus Esprit Sport 300.
Painted body mixed dark yellow, wheels are Finisher's formula chrome.
Added roof antenna and side markers. decals are all selfmade.
Changed seats and added belt on drivers seat only.
Unfortunately this kit has a problem in the balance of front/rear height.
front height is higher than rear so I lowered only the front 2mm.

Thanks for looking!!

What a beauty!

Excellent job on a rather ordinary kit. Looks very realistic!

PS: Why no engine pictures?

What a great Lotus! A good color-choice, and cool wheels.

Re: Completed Lotus Esprit Sport 300

Thanks for the engine bay picture.
It shows less than the pictures from your WIP thread, but it's nice to see it in the finished model!

Yummy...Like the color a lot. Very different than usual. And the build is perfect as expected.

Re: Completed Lotus Esprit Sport 300

Nice work on a difficult kit. The only thing that I'd point out is the stance. The wheels look pushed out, while the center part of the car (lower doors) looks pushed in.

Re: Completed Lotus Esprit Sport 300

Awesome!
great color, i wonder if Senna had one this color. lol
This is one kit that has kicked my butt. (so far)
Maybe with your WIP, I'll try to tackle it again.

Re: Completed Lotus Esprit Sport 300

Fantastic work on a kit that scares me. I have it and just hearing the stories makes me keep it on the shelf. One of my most favorite Lotuses and you've done it well.
