Lights Dim

O.K. I need help on this I just notice that on my way to work which is 5 o'clock in the morning and every time I press on the brakes my headlights dim for some reason and if I roll the windows up or down either one or two windows at the same time they dim even more. If I put the a/c or heater they still dim. So I do not know if this is normal operation or what and also my fog lights don't work too every time I have then on and what happens is that maybe one of then will work and the other one don't and what I just found out recently is that I have to kick either one of the fog light for it to work otherwise they won't come on at the same time or not come on at all. So can you please tell me what could be the problem. I went to autozone and advance autoparts for a free diagnostic and they both told me that the charging system is O.K. whatever this mean.

Re: Lights Dim

Oh thats sounds like fun. Mine is better. When I press on the brakes my parking lights turn on. The dash goes dim and my gauges light up. Its fantastic. I'm working on that tomorrow.

Re: Lights Dim

Found it! It was the 1157 bulb in the trunk lid. Take a look, the parking light prong on the one side melted away and fused with the brake prong causing the problem. Never would have thought that could happen.
