engine swap troble 97 into a 96 help plz help
i have a 96 sunfire and some one tried to put a 97 engine in the car. now the car will start and then die. head u can only put a 96 engine in a 96? any help on what to do?

The 1997 and 1996 do interchange,has to have the cam sensor which they both have.Do the simplest checks including checking for spark.
