Chevy truck buildup thread

Ok here is the progress I have made on my current project. Lots of work went in to it that you cant really see or notice. The front end recived a major facelift in the form of a new grill and a new radaitor. The radaitor was one peice with the body and it took much cutting to allow the new one to fit. Door handles, emblems, rain guards and windsheild wipers were removed. The sun roof was opened up more for my slide back rag top(not done yet). The truck was lowered by de-arching the leaf springs. Wheels are from a doge viper and the tires and disk brakes are from a 32 three window coupe. the tail gate came from a roll cage in my parts box. There is still much work to do on this truck but i wanted to get some picts up so people could tell me where i could improve or just say good job so far(hopefully)! First a pict of the original model.

Thats all for now, till i make some more progress. If you have any questions please ask. If you see something that could be improved tell me.

Looks to be a great truck.

I'd like to point out that trucks don't have to be slammed. In factory form the rear end is 2" higher than the front.

Seems like everybody here only likes cars with 4 cylinders, turbos, recaro seats, and neon green paint.

I like it so far! I just don't dig the yellow lights but I like the rest of it! I personally like all types of cars in addition to Imports I especially love muscle cars! Nearly half of my unbuilt collection is of musclecars!
