2000 eclipse gt auto trans question

Hello i have a 2000 eclipse gt with a automatic trans when i start my car up it starts up fine no wierd sounds or anything but once i put it into drive or reverse it starts to make a light clanking sounds but goes away once the car warms up. it doesnt cause any issues with the performance just wanted to make sure nothing is going out. i checked the auto trans fluid and it was good so i dont think that is the problem.. any help would be apperciated thanks

Re: 2000 eclipse gt auto trans question

hmm add some STP oil stuff that is thick like honey see if that stops it. if not take it easy on the car give it an oil change and then add the stp stuff again and see how it does.
