Renault Clio III, engine shaking eratically
i have a 51 plate renault clio dynamique 1.2, When i try to start the car the engine starts shaking eratically, the rev guage is not idling then the car engine management light comes on and engine cuts out, i noticed that i can hear a ticking noise coming from a big black box near drivers side located under the bonnet and while this ticking is happening the battery goes flat

hi i am having the same problem with my etoile. Is yours just doing it when you slow down like at junctions when started??? I have to keep my foot on the accelerator for it not to cut out. I have also noticed a knocking noise to. Im going to take it to the garage tomorrow so hopefully will find out then.

Hey, Im currently having the same problem, only bought the car a few days ago. The orange management light came on but didn't know what it meant but now the car starts and then dies a few seconds later. There is the same ticking noise mohsan55 is having. Does anyone know any solutions to this other than going to Renault?
