4 spd. Auto?
I have a few questions for you 'Yota pickup people. First off, what was the first year that the 4 spd. auto was available in the yota p/u? Second, what did Toyota call it? I'm going to try and get an adapter and mate it to a Subaru EJ25 motor.

Re: 4 spd. Auto?
IIRC, the A340H 4 spd auto w/integral t-case became available in the 4Runner in 85 and p/u's a year or 2 later.
Don't know about 2WD's.

Re: 4 spd. Auto?
How long was the transmission/t-case combo from the front of the bell housing to the back of the rear output shaft in those models?
