Help with tire size, 15, 16 or 17?

Help. I am trying to decide what size wheels/tires to put on my 4 door EX. I was thinking of 16's, but my local store has more choices in 17's. This is for my daily driver.

I concur, 17's eat too much torque. 16's arent that great iether, but they do get it to the ground and come in wider sizes than 15's in general... If you can get 15X8's gor for those! I havent found any yet... Well any that look good.

if you go with 16 you can run a 205-40-16 and stay real close to your stock tire size and you speedo will change ver little if you go 17 its igoing to throw your speedo way off and kill some of you power unless you find the real light rims. i am rim shopping right now and am having the same problems finding stuff that i like in the 15 or 16 inch size if you go 15 you should be able to run 195-50-15, keep in mind that the larger the side wall the better it will hold up under daily drivers, pot holes are hell on those little ruber band tires. you can use this link to help you cross your tire over it will save you some time when trying to pick rims and tires.http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html
