[FONT='Verdana','sans-serif']I just had the transmission rebuilt less than 70 miles ago. When I was driving home the speedometer quit working and the trans. will not shift out of first gear. What could have caused this to happen?

Speed sensor or wiring?
Did it come unpluged? Why was transmission rebuilt? What was it doing or not doing to start with? I would take it back to the rebuilder and have him check ir out. Let us know how it goes.

That was it...speed sensor was bad, thanks for letting me know what to look for MT-2500
