i have a 1997 chevy silverado with a 5.7.my brother has a 2000 yukon.he is need of an alternator.will the spare from my truck,fit his yukon???? his yukon has a 5.3

will need the details of the 97 silverado so many different options...pulley size belt changes all this is complicated..


the yukon was not that varied in options...

if these alternators are the same amperage and size ....also the pulley is gonna fit , it may work..
