98 cavalier headlights

Just got a 98 Cavalier, the daytime running lights work, the headlights work on dim, but only one headlight works on bright. any suggestions?

burnt out head light or the infamous wiring problem which occurs in wiring harness up front

replaced headlight, fuse is also good. what exactly is a the wiring problem?

bad connections/splices in the wiring harness up front between headlights. strip the duct tape type covering off harness looking for the splices uncover splice ,it is likely corroded. High beam is pink wire if I remember correctly
