Smile Need parts for 67 T-Bird

I need a driveshaft and a transmission cross member for a 1967 T-Bird. It is a 2 dr with the 390 V8 engine. I believe a 1968 will fit it as well and maybe even a 1969 as all had a C-6 tranny.
I live in Alliance, Ohio 44601 zip. Let me know if you have these parts or if you knwo where I can locate them.
Regards
Jack

I would check the scrapyards in Canton or Akron if you can't find it in Alliance.
The Yards in Salem used to have teletype and could check many yards and give you a price.
You can look on http://www.ebay.com/

Re: Need parts for 67 T-Bird

I know this is an old thread, but the '67 and '68 driveshafts are different.

The '67 has an ordinary shaft with one u-joint at each end. It also has a 9 inch rear end.

The '68 and '69's used a rubber-damped shaft. The shaft is actually a smaller tube going inside a larger one with a rubber insert separating them. It also uses double-cardan joints at each end, with a 9and 3/8 inch rear end.

The yokes at the pinion shaft is different so the 68 shaft will not fit a '67.

Also remember the 4 door car shafts are longer than the 2 door shafts.
