01 power window
My passenger power window will go down and sometimes if I put right back up it will work other times it won't. Yesterday it went down and no matter what I did it would go back up and then this morning it went right up like it was supposed to. Could this be the motor? Like the the magnet inside is weak and won't let the motor work all the time? Sometimes when it won't go up I lift up on the window and wiggle it it goes up.

Re: 01 power window
Classic case of the motor going bad,I have replace both sides already. The window goes down because of less resistance than going up, and the window motors in my opinion are under size for this application. Not to hard to replace if you're handy with tools.

Re: 01 power window
All 2nd,3rd,4th generation vans have window regulators consisting of a cable system driven by an electric motor. (probably the 1st gens too) These motors are protected by a thermal circuit breaker inside the motor. If the cable/rail system is binding the window, the motor can overheat and pop the breaker. Once the motor cools it will work again. Though it's worth investigating to see if that's the case, usually as earlyriser stated, the motor is shot. That said, it's usually the motor brushes that go first and I have read of more adventurous folks out there just changing the brushes to fix the motors. Not sure that's worth the hassle.
