Lost Coolant
Hi Guys,
It happen to me last week when my CEL came on, my code reader said some thing about coolant circuit, so I check my coolant and saw it splash all over not from any hoses but seem like it came from radiator cap. I opened the radiator cap, no coolant in it, I have to refill it almost 3/4 gallon but my reservoir is full. I have two questions on this. Is my radiator cap is bad? or my two electric fans are bad? Can any one help shed some light with this problem. Thanks so much. This is for my Honda.

Re: Lost Coolant
I would change the cap and keep an eye on the fluid level.

Re: Lost Coolant
Yes just check the radiator cap see if there is any splashes while the engine is hot on idle. I had this problem on my Mazda MVP.
Usually you'll see wet spot where fluid comes out. If replacing the cap doesn't help. Check all the rubber hoses including the ones that are going to inside the car (heater hose.)

Re: Lost Coolant
I may suggest to make sure you do not have air pockets in the system. Accords are very sensitive them.
