Cracked Sway Bar
My 1999 Alero has a cracked sway bar on the right side about 8" from where it attaches on the right side, thanks to a Michigan pothole. Is this an expensive job to have done or can I do it myself. I have done just about everything else. I would rather have it done to save the agravation I know this may cause.
Thanks |

Re: Cracked Sway Bar
This could be the cause of your rumble noise, I saw your other thread.
Its a PITA , you need to get it up on some sturdy jack stands. Does require removing the trans to engine bracket, and the sub frame may need loosend and lowered about 3" to pull the bar out the drivers side.
