'01 Honda Civic 1.7L Intake Manifold
C:/Windows/MyDocuments/MyPictures/Ko...10-03/100_2268I need to replace the intake manifold on this car, but it looks like it will take some special tool or something to get the lower three nuts off the intake studs. All I can see to do is put a punch on the nuts. But, then how would I get them back on and torqued? Anyone have any ideas?
Sorry, but I can't seem to get a pic on here. Last edited by teg453; 10-08-2008 at 07:48 AM. Reason: Stud Position & Trying To Add Pic. |

Might help out a bit if you take a picture of the bolts you're talking about, so that we may all see it.

Re: '01 Honda Civic 1.7L Intake Manifold
I removed the intake manifold on a 01 civic 1.7L LX (all models have the same lx, dx, ex) and don't need any special tools. The only things I have "problems" was two "holders" that it have underside. The best form is remove them from the underside of the car. All the nuts that it have can be removed with the same wrench. I think is a 12mm.

For future reference... host your pictures online, and link to them.. You've essentially given a link to a spot on your home system that doesn't exist online... i.e. noone can get to it but you.
Try uploading your pics to www.photobucket.com and posting that link..
