Wierd noise coming from my exhaust i think...

I have a 98 ex and ive been noticing a wierd "ratteling" noise everytime i accelerate, back up, or just idle. which sounds like its comming from my exhaust or atleast i think it is... anybody know what it could be?

Probably a heat shield. When the car is cold safely crawl underneath and tap the exhaust with your hand or a rubber mallet. You will likely be able to duplicate the sound. Catalytic converter shields are pretty common.

Could be, Or the baffles in your muffler are shot. This is a common problem and you would need to replace the muffler but check the heat shields first. If the sheild(s) are vibrating just rip them off.
