substandard general brand tires

i was wondering if any body else has had this problem.
i leased a 05 silverado and within 25000 miles the tires were bald
ive owned general tires that went 70000 miles
now gm wants me to pay 700 dollars to replace them

leased new, I would bitch until they throw a set on there. Even cheapies last like 40k.

when I purchased my 2000 silverado I had to pay 250.oo extra for the firestone truck tires LT245....C load..1500 truck...these tires ran for 90,000mi...I then replaced with the same...never any problems with wear or anything...



I did this because I found that GM uses inferior tires on the as delivered vehicles ...your tire failure at this mileage is the norm...


If they can save a buck at your expense this is also the norm..
