Dash Board Lights out........

Yes i have a 99' Grand am se with a 3.4L V6 engine, and has about 119,000 miles on it....well my radio got stolen and was trying to put in a cheapo and than one of the wires touched and sparked and now my fog lights are out and so are the dashboard lights, the only thing that works on the inside are the dome light, the lights on the bottom where the gas and brake pedals are located and the service vehicle soon light turns on and so does the tire pressure light...why dont the fog lights and the dashboard lights turn on....are they hooked up together???
