91 cruise control
I have a 91 d150 with a 318 throttle body.cruise quit on me one day,can anyone tell me how the system works so i can troubleshoot?

does the horn work? if cruise control and horn don't work then the clockspring in the steering column is broke. you will have to take the steering wheel off. take the battery cables loose and let the airbags discharge before you mess with the steering wheel or you most likely set the airbag off. i let mine set for a couple hours to make sure.
