2000 sonoma tccm

i just recently replaced the encoder motor. everything workd fina at first then it wouldnt go into 4wd hi. i unplugged the battery and recet the tccm. it worked fine for a lil while then the same again. as long as i unplug the battery for a while i t will work temperarily. does this mean my tccm is bad if i have to keep unpluggin the battery to get it to work? how much is a new tccm?

You will have to get the tranny codes out first to find what the problem is
then work from there get code repost so we can try and help you
