1997 Camry remote confusion, please help!

Hi

I just bought a used 1997 Camry V6 LE. It has a dealer installed RS3000 VIP security system. I didnt get the remote with the car and bought one on ebay that says is a clone remote for 1997 camry.

For the past 2 days all thru the evening, I spent hours searching for the instructions and now I am totally lost and frustated. I beg of someone to please put me out of my misery !! Please, I am going crazy.

This is the STATUS.

1. On the dash I see a RED LED bulb that is not glowing.
2. When I get in the car and close the door and put the key in ignition, all doors are locked and inlock when I turn off the key telling me the system is working.

Here is what I have tried:

1. I wanted to TRY the MIRROR control switch method. Opening the mirror control switch and using jumper pin from #2 to #10 but the #2 PURPLE WIRE does NOT exist !!!! So, I didnt know what to do ??

2. I took the ECU under the seat and with key in ignition ON, touched the GREEN button. The RED LED on the dash glows! Then I pressed it for another 2 sec and it chirps and headlights flicker 3 times indicating all remote codes have been removed

Then I put the key in again-hit the green button-after RED led glows-Push the button on the remote and NOTHING happens. Usually, the head lights shoudl flicker to indicate programming.

Please , please help.
