Oil advice

2004 Ford Excursion 78,000. Can I switch to a synthetic oil? It has never been run on sythetic oil. Just bought the the truck. THanks for any advice

If you are fairly sure the engine was reasonably maintained prior to this, yes.

Go for it. If you notice increased oil consumption or leakage and want to switch back to regular you can, and the problems should go away after a few thousand miles.
