Its Time For some Exhaust work

My car sounds bad the muffler rattles and is restircted. i want a good high flow system that is not to load and not to much money i know thats alot to ask for.

Is the high flow cats worth the money i have seen the OBX ones on ebay for like $40, the previous owner had alread put larger pipe from the cat back so i should not have to replace the entire system. i am open for sugestions.this the cat

and what about the headers and stuff that you can find for low prices is there that much differance in them.header

and i really like this style of tip for the system but i can not find it in something that will work on the civic.

the tip

so i am open for sugestions i know that i need to do somthing soon the muffler rattle is driving me nuts
:silly2:

That CAT is not really a CAT it's more of a resonator I believe...
A real cat has a very small honeycomb pattern inside, I dont think that one does.
I have the same header.... I havent put it on yet but it is very well made...nice welds....nothin cheap about it.
Dont like that tip but the choice is urs.... its not my car. If u like it, sport it.

I agree with you... it is just a pipe to replace the cat, for more flow. Also would you recomend that header?

Instead of making a new thread, I might as well post my question in here. Okay I wanna buy a new muffler, but I dont wanna get one and then not like the sound of it. So my question is are there any sites that allow someone to listien to the muffler before even buying it? Or if anyone has a muffler that has a deep growl to it, but not a duel tip, let me know. Thanks

mines made by Ractive. good company but the muffler was 160 american. glad i didnt pay for it hehe single 4 inch tip and 5 inch muffler. when idleing its nice and quiet and not anoying, when u open it up it sounds pretty good
dunno if its ur style or not but just thought i'd give a suggestion but Ractive is a good company for exhaust IMO. havent seen anything else made by them and dont own anything else made by them.... yet

how big is that pipe i have not found one small that would fit on the right side like that so you have the dimisions or the model # for it.

i dunno the dimensions or the model number but i was on nopi.com and found the exhaust. theres 2 different styles, mines the non angled one. and i noticed the prices have dropped. now $112.58 also the product number for the one that looks like mine is 255+3121

EDIT: Ok, i cant get the links to work.
goto nopionline.com
then "performance" under the universal section
then "mufflers with tips"
then "Ractive"
then either "all performance mufflers with tips RACTIVE" or just click "dragger style"
