Please help...

I have a 95 Metro 4-door, and was wondering if anyone can tell me where the air intake is for the heat/ac? I turned my defrost on this morning and a bunch of flies came out. Quite disgusting! I think maybe something crawled in there and died. Any help?

Re: Please help...

The air comes into the car near where the windshield wipers are attatched. You will likely have to remove them to remove the cowl to gain access to the air intake. Other wise if its easier remove the blower motor. It is usually right at the bottom of the air intake and will likely give you better access to the problem if there is one.

Good luck!

I would go the blower motor route. Better wear some rubber gloves!
