Driver side door gap

Quick question : Do I have to remove the front fender to adjust the door forward? The gap between the door and the car body is greater towards the front of the car. I can also tell the the door is starting to come into contact with the car body towards the rear.

Thanks in advance

Re: Driver side door gap

If the door is sagging, it may be the hinge pins. Try reading this.............

Re: Driver side door gap

a temporary fix to mine which needs bushings. i opened the door all the way placed a floor jack and block under the door. apply slight pressure to bottom of door. i used a 1/4 drive 12 mm wallable socket, 1/4 x 10'' long extension lossened top two hinge bolts from between fender and door. use hammer and block of wood to tap top hinge toward front of car and re tighten hinge. may have too try several times to get door to open and close properly .

Thanks for the suggestions. The door does not sag. I’ll try getting to the bolts by opening the door and using a floor jack.
