need answers fast,vtec work cause speeometer wont work ??? help

it is a 96 integra ls with jdm gsr vtec swap. we got a jdm vtec ecu for it. we are using the stock harness, we got a vtec sub harness for it. we hooked it up and someone hooked the 26-iab wire to the 18-vss wire at ecu, and when i unspliced iab and put it in the right spot, the speeometer stoped working iab. reaplaced speed sensor and cluster gauge, and checked ecu it works,still dont work ???? need answers fast, speedometer worked before sub harness
