94 Caravan Transaxle/Transmission trouble

I have a 94 Caravan 3.3L 4speed Automatic, I know that my passenger side Driveaxle went bad, it clicks when I turn and started to shudder while driving.

But my van also goes into drive when it first starts moves 50 feet or so then acts like it is in Neutral even thought it is in drive. It sometimes takes turning it off and on several times and even putting it in a lower gear to make it drive, this happens no matter what gear i am in though and can take up to 15 min for the car to drive again. I was wondering if this problem is related to the transaxle or is it a tranny problem.

did you figure it out yet? if not and that has 4 wheel anti lock it could be that sensor on the half shft that needs changing.
