Rear Hatch Popper

Has anyone done a door popper on a 96 rear hatch? I can't get used to the both hands operation.

Re: Rear Hatch Popper

Not sure what a door popper is but i might be on the right track. Read that someone put in some HD dampeners for another vehicle with a heavier rear door.

~ When he unlatched the rear door, said it almost came up on its own.

Re: Rear Hatch Popper

Turns out I just saw a popper on a "Super Trucker (big rigs) ..beauty contest" show (National Geographics) on the tube.

Looks like all it is, is a remote unlatching of the door (rather than the lock).
