noise in rear of 2007 ss
I have a 2007 Impala SS and there is a noise in the rear that sounds like the muffler is loose. It happens every day but its not doing it the hole time im driving and its not from bumps. I had it at the dealer and of course it didnt do it when they had it. There is nothing in the trunk and the spare tire and jack are not loose. Anyone else have this? What could it be?

My 3-month old 2008 LT made a vibrating echo/noise whenever I slam the doors shut. It is coming from bottom rear of the car. I have nothing in the trunk so I looked underneath the car. I sawthere is a shiny thin-metal shield toward the passenger rear bottom that is slightly loose. The shield must be hitting the chassis.
Haven't had time to get it fixed.
