ABS/ASC pump is always on

I have a 2002 M3. My ABS/ASC pump is always on, causing the brake calipers to lock, making it impossible to drive. The pump hums all the time, even with the ignition off. Removing Fuse # 61 deactivates the pump and allows me to drive the car. What could be the faulty part? Thanks!! Maurice.

Re: ABS/ASC pump is always on

Has to be the mother board or a relay that is locked on. If you want to find the bad boy, you might take each wire and ground it to the prong it needs to attach to and you probe that way until the light comes on and that is your wire at least the one to start with.

The next is to type your car, the ABS and say, "recall" along with the search and see if that thing is on call for it sure is a danger car with the brakes locking up on you for a short to ground is that buzz to a complete circuit.

Re: ABS/ASC pump is always on

I hear the humming from under the master cylinder. Do you know what parts I need to remove to get to the pump?
