Upper Console Swap

I just picked up an 02 dakota quad cab v8 4.7L. I love it however the one thing its missing is the overhead console with temp/compass and all the other goodies. Mine only has a "clip" which is totaly useless and the map lights. Is there any way to swap this out with the better one? I figure i can prolly pick up the console from a junkyard or ebay relatively cheap, but what would it take to put it in? if anyone has any ideas it would be much appreciated.
