What Year Blazers?

Can anyone please tell me what years they made the s10 Blazers with a 2.8 v6 and a 5 speed? I am interested in finding one, and making it into small plow truck for home use. I wanted to know what years they produced that engine/ tranny combo.

Thanks
Paul

Re: What Year Blazers?

they made the s-10 pick up in a 2.8 v6 but i have never seen a blazer with a 5 speed unless it was a sport option but i hope you do find one also look at an early 80s jeep cherokee with a 2.8 v6 let me know if you found one

'87-'88 and I think in '89 too were the years the 2.8 could be found with a manual. A friend of mine had one, a 2.8L/manual with 4x4 and the truck actually had good overall performance, had good acceleration too.

Re: What Year Blazers?

sounds right, might have been able to get it in 1990 as well. parents used to have an 87 blazer 4x4 with the 2.8/5spd.
