headlight adjustment problem
i have a 97 firebird (3.8L V6) that is having a problem bringing the headlights down. they go up together perfectly, come down perfectly and then both motors being making a grinding sound as if they were never told to stop. they do the grinding sound for about 6 seconds. is this a motor failure, something adjustable, or is there a switch up front that tells the motors when to stop?
any ideas? thank you Jeff |

Re: headlight adjustment problem
there are little plastic peepees that after they get old they tend to shater. Easy and lasting fix is to go to you local hardware store and ask them that you need to loo at some sleaves. Makesure you bring the headlight motor asse. with you for sizing.
