'93 4.6L Rear Main Seal Repair Costs
What would be a reasonable cost to replace the rear main seal for my '93 if I take it to a repair shop?
I would like to be armed with reasonable costs before I take it in for estimates. Your responses are greatly appreciated.

They have to remove the transmission to do the seal. I would look at their hourly shop rate. They should be able to do it in under 3 hrs. They may want 4 hrs. so get a few estimates. I would check the place where you get your work done first. A 4WD always costs more about double.
