Side Window Weatherstrip

The outer lower weatherstrip for the roll up windows in my '93 2 door metro is gone, and all of the local junkyard cars either have none, or have badly rotted strips. Does anyone know of a source, or alternatively, strips from a more available vehicle that can be made to fit? Thanks.

You can try ebay but probably going to have to improvise.

Re: Side Window Weatherstrip

The J.C.Whitney Catalog carries gozillions of weather stripping.

Only problem is trying to finger out which one to order!

and then wait......

Re: Side Window Weatherstrip

I have 4 of them, but only 1 is for a 2 door 03. The one I have is the right side (passanger side outer) and is in very good condition. There is no cracking from UV exposure and the felt side is really nice too. There is one small nick on the outside, but you really have to look to see it. It was hard to get pics, but here they are anyway. The unit is not bent and has all the clips.

If you are in the lower 48, $15 plus $5 shipping for the one unit.
