Headers for a 97 SL?

Hey guys you may have noticed that ive been posting a few posts about upgrades. Well its cuz I finally have a decent job and can actually afford all these basic power upgrades that I've been meaning to get. ANYWHOO down to the nitty gritty

I am looking into getting new headers. I'm not really looking to spend the 600+ that 3si wants. Is there anywhere else to get decent headers for a 97 DOHC SL? Or does it even matter? Cuz on ebay, I find pleanty of headers that are more in my price range, but theyre all for either SOHC or for the vr4. Does that matter either? Like can I use either of those headers on my car?

Sorry for all the noob questions. I would've asked them a long time ago, but I didnt have the money then so I didnt even bother.

Thanks in advance guys

Re: Headers for a 97 SL?

Dont waste money on headers. Just get a Cali spec downpipe from 3sx.

Re: Headers for a 97 SL?

I was about mention that. Are the headers worth it? Or would it really be better to just get a downpipe?

Also, the "N/A UPGRADE BIBLE" mentions a ground wire kit. Is that worth getting? And how about the underdrive pulley and the lightweight flywheel? Im finally making money so Im looking into some basic power upgrades. Just wondering which mods are actually worth the money.

*edit*

And on that note, I've had the same spark plugs for the last, oohhhhhh...13k miles. I dunno if that's bad or not, but I would like to get some new spark plugs too. Any suggestions? I was thinking about those pulse plugs things, cuz several magazines I read did dyno tests on "similar engines" (i.e. the v6 from the infinity G35s) and have "confirmed" gains of like 5-7 hp over NGK Iridium plugs. They would cost like $125 for the whole set tho...So assume I know nothing about spark plugs and gaps and all that (cuz I don't)
