Tachometer doesnt work on my 96 2.4L

My tachometer on my Stratus doesnt seem to want to work wich is bad because the digital mileage gauge wont work now. Sometimes I will get lucky and it will start up for a short period of time but then die again. Also my speedometer needle flickers up and down and doesnt really stay right in the same place everytime. haha the speedometer is not that bad just anoying sometimes. Someone mentioned the "tachometer drive module". Is this the problem or do I need to get a new instrument cluster. Thanks for any help.

i have a '95 Stratus with a 5 speed and it is doing the same thing. please help!
